Empowering Young Minds: A Visit from Prerana Foundation to IKS Health Mumbai

On June 30, 2025, the IKS Health Mumbai office had the privilege of hosting 40 children from the Prerana Foundation, an NGO supporting child victims of trafficking and violence. The visit, warmly coordinated by Priyanka Philip, Director – L&D, included career guidance sessions led by our employees and a guided office tour organized by the Admin team.

What began with shy smiles quickly evolved into an engaging and inspiring experience. Our volunteers engaged in candid conversations with the children, providing them a comprehensive view of different career paths within the organization.

Highlights from the sessions included:

• Kareen Ribeiro (VP – Talent Management) and Mangesh Bhide (SVP – Organization Effectiveness) shared their expertise in HR and talent management.
• Pankaj Shirodkar (AVP – Operations) provided insights into RO operations and business processes.
• Yogesh Gosavi (Associate Director – Training) highlighted the impact of learning and development roles.
• Aashu Vishwakarma (Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition) offered guidance on recruitment and resume-building.
• Ryan Rodrigues (Director – Admin) explained administrative roles and career progression.
• Deepti Kenjale (Associate Director – Communications) showcased the importance of effective internal and external messaging.
• Nilesh Pawar and Vaibhav Salunkhe (Assistant Managers – L&D) demonstrated creative roles in graphic design, photography, and branding.

The sessions offered practical guidance and inspiration while allowing children and employees to share stories about their favourite subjects, hobbies, and dreams. The visit served as a reminder that behind every role and every school uniform lies a shared human desire for connection, learning, and growth.

For the IKS Health team, the visit was more than a CSR activity—it was a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with the joy of discovery and witness the immense potential within every child.
