Scribble App User Account Deletion Policy
1. Request Initiation
- External Request: Users who wish to delete their account must contact our support team via email at softwaresupport@ikshealth.com.
- Verification Process: Upon receiving the email request, our support team will initiate a verification process to confirm the user’s identity and validate the request.
2. Verification Process
- Identity Verification: The user will be asked to provide specific account information to verify their identity. This may include answering security questions or providing other identifying details.
- Confirmation Email: After verification, a confirmation email will be sent to the user, outlining the steps for finalizing the account deletion process. This email will include a link or instructions to confirm the deletion.
3. Account Deletion
- Final Confirmation: Users must confirm the deletion request by following the instructions provided in the confirmation email.
- Data Deletion: Upon confirmation, the user’s account will be permanently deleted from our servers.
- User Notification: A final email will be sent to the user confirming the successful deletion of their account.
4. Grace Period
- Data Retention Period: After the deletion request is confirmed, there will be a 14-day grace period during which the account and data are marked for deletion but not yet permanently removed. The user can cancel the deletion request by contacting support within this period.
- Final Data Purge: Once the grace period expires, all user data will be permanently purged from our systems, making the account irretrievable.
5. Compliance with Legal and Regulatory Requirements
- Data Retention for Compliance: Certain data may be retained for legal or regulatory reasons even after the account deletion. This retention will be in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
6. Post-Deletion Access
- Access Denied: Once the account is deleted, the user will no longer have access to the Scribble app or any associated services.
- Re-registration: Users who wish to use the Scribble app again will need to create a new account, as previous account data will not be recoverable.
